Appointments

Hello, and thank you for your interest in having your next tattoo project completed with me, I am so immensely grateful for each and everyone of you for your constant support and kindness.

I would like to take a moment to explain my booking process. Below, you will find some guidelines to help with your submission.

Let’s create.

I schedule all of my appointments through a “books open/books closed” process, and I tend to open my books at the beginning of the seasons during the New Moon. I only accept appointments that are submitted during my “books open” phase, and any requests I receive at any other point of the year will not be reviewed or considered for an appointment date. I make regular updates on my Instagram page and on this website when I plan to reopen my books, along with all of the information I’ll need from you to proceed.

At this moment, I plan to reopen my books on:

Saturday April 27th

10AM-Noon

I will be scheduling the end of August-December, but depending on the amount of requests submitted, I may schedule out through March.

My online form will only be available for 2 hours when they do reopen, so please feel free to read the information below on what to expect the day of!

Description

As much detailed information about the design you have in mind, and any elements you would like me to consider including in the design.

Location

Where on your body you were wanting to place this piece, and an approximate size in inches. Some body parts are more challenging to tattoo than others, and the final location can alter the price of the piece, so if you decide to change the location of your tattoo before your appointment, please let me know in advance so I can prepare for that location.

Reference Images

Any reference images that you are inspired by (knowing that I will not copy an exact image, but to use as a reference point of what you like visually in terms of style, color, coverage, etc.)

Optional: Context of this tattoo

Include a description and context of the significance of your proposal and what the tattoo means to you. This is not mandatory, but sometimes it is helpful for me to consider during the design process.

Phone Number

A phone number that I can reach you at. My assistant and I will be conducting all appointment related correspondence in an email thread, but in the unlikely event I need to reschedule the day of your appointment, this helps me get ahold of you faster.

Pronouns

Any pronouns that you prefer to go by. I work very hard to create a safe and inclusive space for everyone, so if you have any reservations or requests to make your visit more comfortable, please let me know.

Email

All communication regarding your appointment will be carried out by email, so please keep an eye out for an email from my assistant or I. We give clients a 48 hour window to confirm their appointment time and date slot before I surrender the appointment to the next client, so please keep a close eye on your inbox, and especially your spam folder. I’d hate for anyone to miss out on a chance to be tattooed this scheduling season!

At this time, these are the projects I’m prioritizing:

Realism/portraiture (pet portraits, pop culture icons, movie imagery and scenes), graphic anime/manga imagery, and fine art reproductions, focusing solely on micro renditions of these pieces.

I’ve spent the past few years researching and learning how to incorporate the highest amount of detail into these small scale tattoos in a way they’ll last a lifetime, and I am no longer comfortable working on large scale projects or designs. I do not feel comfortable altering other artists' work, and I will not "touch up" or "finish" a tattoo done by another artist. I am also no longer accepting any coverup projects due to the light, delicate nature of my tattoos.

I’ve sent a request, what happens next?

I receive an overwhelmingly large volume of submissions that my assistant and I try our very best to respond to when we are not working directly with clients (or during our own personal time), and typically these emails will receive a reply anytime within 1-4 weeks, so your patience in advance is greatly appreciated.

My assistant or I will send you an email as soon as possible letting you know if your project has been selected or not. I am only one person and can’t accept everyone’s proposals, so please don’t be disheartened if your project isn’t accepted! If it’s a project I don’t think I’m the best fit for, I will let you know and I’ll recommend some other artists in the area that may be a better fit.

If your project is selected, my assistant or I will respond with any further questions, or if there are no further questions, we will provide a cost and time estimate, and let you know my availability for scheduling the tattoo session. I work Monday-Friday from noon-6pm, and I am no longer scheduling weekend or evening appointments so I am able to spend more time with my family. Keep an eye out for our email, and make sure to check your spam folder just in case. I’d hate for you to miss out on an opening!

We respond and offer calendar dates on a first come first serve basis, prioritizing my flash pieces and projects that fit within the style I’m focusing on this scheduling season.

When you receive a confirmation email from us, you’ll have 24 hours to confirm your appointment date and time before the time slot is released to the next client. When you confirm your appointment with us, you will then have another 24 hours to submit your deposit payment via our online link to secure this time slot. We will send you a link where you can pay your non-refundable deposit (that is taken off the overall price of your tattoo) to secure this time slot.

Due to the amount of requests we receive, the only way we can respond to everyone in a timely manner is to give everyone the same amount of time to confirm and book the appointment, and if you don’t respond to us in this time frame, we will have to remove you from the request list for this booking period.

For pieces that take 4 or less hours, the deposit is $100. For full day appointments or pet portraits, the deposit is $200 to make up for the extra drawing time I’ll need.

Due to my busy schedule, all tattoo designs are drawn up the day of the tattoo appointment. I do not have the time to draw them up ahead of time, and it’s easier for me to sit down with you in person and discuss all of my design elements the day of your appointment, so I do not send any designs out before your appointment date. I do allow plenty of time during the appointment to make any alterations to the design, so please be honest with me about any questions you may have!

If you have any questions, design requests, or want me to review some more images (reference pictures, different photos/angles of your pet(s), etc) please reach out to me before your appointment day so I have time to review these changes with you. If you’re wanting to add elements to a design, change size/location, or want to add framework or color, I can’t always guarantee that these changes will be accepted. I give everyone a time estimate and tattoo quote when I accept your appointment, and these elements can change the time needed to complete the piece and the overall cost, so please keep that in mind! For examples of what I typically charge for certain elements added to designs, please review my pricing guide.

Reschedule policy:

Life happens, and I am so grateful for everyone’s transparency in letting me know when they might need some extra time before their appointment. I try to be as flexible as I can when it comes to rescheduling, but I do have to set some limitations due to the amount of continuous reschedules I had this past fall/winter season.

With my fall/winter schedule coming up, I know it can be tricky with the holidays and travel plans, and sometimes it may not be the best financial time to get tattooed. Last year, I had 80% of my appointments scheduled in Oct-Dec needing to reschedule for these reasons, and it was incredibly stressful on my end. I leave enough openings in my calendar to reschedule pieces for other days in my fall/winter schedule when people become sick or a schedule complication comes up, but I am UNABLE to push these appointments into my next scheduling season (spring onwards). If your appointment needs to be pushed into the spring/summer session, you will need to resubmit your proposal when my books reopen, and you will forfeit your deposit.

PLEASE let me know if the holidays are a tricky time for you for these reasons, or if you have any travel plans in the books before accepting your appointment. It’s way easier for me to move appointments around while I’m going through my scheduling phase, and if for some reason those fall/winter months may not work out, I’d rather know in advance so you don’t run the risk of losing your deposit!

If you need to reschedule, I require at least a 72 hour notice, and I will forward your deposit to a new appointment date. If I don’t have a 3-day notice, it’s difficult for me to fill the time slot, so any notice I receive in less than a 72 hour notice will result in you surrendering your deposit, and you will need to leave a new one to secure the new date. If you reschedule less than 24 hours, you surrender the deposit and appointment, and will have to submit another form when my books reopen. If you no-call no-show, it is an automatic blacklist and I will not schedule you again in the future.

The first reschedule (if given a timely heads up) will have their deposit forwarded to their new appointment date. If you need to reschedule more than once, your deposit will be surrendered and you’ll be removed from my schedule.

This is a worse case scenario and very rarely does anyone reschedule at the last minute, but I like to have the information out there just in case! I’m a very understanding person and I understand that life happens, events and jobs can change, and people can get sick. As long as you’re respectful of me and my time, I will be respectful towards your needs as well.

As appreciative as I am for the overwhelming amount of love and excitement for when my books reopen, I receive more requests for tattoo work than I can accommodate at any given time, so please don’t take it personally if your request is turned away. If your design does not fit within my specialties, or I simply can't take on any more work for this season, I will decline. I have to turn away some work because I will not compromise quality or time spent with clients to take on a higher volume. I want you to end up with an artist that has the time, interest, and ability to give you the attention your tattoo deserves, and who will do an amazing job at it, even if they don't work in our studio.

Once again, thank you so much for your patience, and for your excitement and trust in me to work on your next project with you!
